Over the years, Bex and Paddy have worked together in designing and creating unique artworks capturing the history and excitement that comes with rallying a Mini Cooper.
Hopkirk was a major figure in British motor sport, reportedly the best rally driver to ever come out of Northern Ireland making his passing in July 2022 the ever more devastating.
Only 5 black edition ‘Paddy Hopkirk 37’ artworks have been hand painted in three dimensional vivid acrylic expressive paint and endorsed with a bright white signature of approval from Paddy himself.
In contrast to the bright white first artwork created with Paddy, this black edition artwork is the final artwork created by Bex and Paddy and is one of the most limited embellished collections to date.
Bex has express how much of a delight it has been to work with Paddy so this artwork is a celebration of this gentleman together with his achievements in motorsport namely the most famous 1964 Monte Carlo Rally.
It was Paddy Hopkirk who transformed this cute economical British motor from a plucky underdog into a serious contender in the rallying world. What a man, what a driver, what a wonderful character who will forever be missed. Number 37, 33 EJB
